​Q: Do I need an appointment to shop?

​A: No. You may stop in anytime we're open to shop! if you're planning on trying on dresses we would recommend giving yourself at least an hour or two so you do not feel rushed.


Q: What kind of dresses do you have?

A: We have over wedding gowns, formal dresses, quinceanera dresses, bridesmaids & flower girl dresses. About 40% of our dresses are brand new!


Q: What is the price range for your dresses?

A: Bridal gowns range from $40 to $700. Formal dresses range from under $15 to $100. Dresses will be below retail value whether they are new or used. We do not have a single dress in the store over $700!


Q: What other things do you sell?

A: Veils, shoes, belts, flower girl dresses and other bridal accessories.


Q: How often do you get new items in?

A: Every day! There are always new items coming in so every time you're here there will be something new!


Q: What should I expect when I come to try on dresses?

A: Dresses are organized by size and you may pull as many dresses as you would like to try on. Pictures are encouraged and we will gladly answer questions you may have during the process.


Q: Are prices negotiable?

A: No. Our prices are set at a huge discount to new and suggested retail pricing, additionally we have items in the store that are consigned and not owned by Once Upon A Bride.


Q: May I take pictures?

A: Yes! We encourage you to take pictures of dresses you love!


Q: Can you hold items?

A: No. Since most items are on consignment, we cannot hold any items. If you want something, get it quick...it may be gone tomorrow!


Q: Do you ship?

A: No.  All items that are ordered through us will be available for pick up in store.


Q: Can I return items if I change my mind?

A: All sales are final. We are unable to process any returns or exchanges.


Q: Can I sell my dress to you after my wedding?

A: You are welcome to bring your dress to us for consignment. Dresses need to be in re-sellable condition and you will receive 50% of what your items sell for.

Q: Can my kids come with me?

A: We recommend that small children stay at home, however you are welcome to bring them. We do not have any childcare services while you shop.

Q: What do you take on consignment?

A: We will take most apparel items related to your wedding as long as they are clean and re-sellable. Accessories can be handmade or purchased and do not have to be originally from Once Upon A Bride. Dresses need to be in current style and not have any blemishes.

Q: Do I need an appointment to drop off my consignment?

A: No. You may stop in anytime we're open to drop off consignment and we would be happy to look at your items!  WE CURRENTLY ARE ONLY ACCEPTING NEW CONSIGNMENTS ON BRIDAL GOWNS, BELTS, VEILS, FLOWER GIRL DRESSES, BOY'S ATTIRE, BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES, MOTHER OF THE BRIDE.  SHOES, PETTICOATS AND JEWELRY ARE ACCEPTED ON DONATION ONLY.

Q: How long do my items stay on consignment?

A: Formal gowns are only accepted on a 30-day consignment period but bridal gowns, quinceanera and other accessories are accepted for up to 90 days.

Q: What does it cost to consign?

A: Nothing. There is no fee to have us look at items, consign items or pick up items that do not sell.  We receive a 50% commission on items that sell.

Q: What happens after my items expire?

A: Items become property of Once Upon A Bride after expiration. You are welcome to pick up any items that do not sell during your contract period BEFORE THE END OF THE CONSIGNMENT PERIOD.

Q: What happens if my name changes?

A: Just give us a call and we will be happy to update your information.

Q: Will you notify me when my items sell?

A: We have thousands of items so we don't call each consignor every time one of their items sell. You may contact us by phone, email, Facebook or an in-store visit and we would be happy to check on the status of your account.

Q: How much may I bring in?

A: If you used something in your wedding, it is likely someone else would like to use it too! We take dresses (wedding and formal), and accessories (shoes, jewelry, purses, etc). You may bring in as much as you would like, we are happy to look at anything you bring in!

Q: Can you mail my payment?

A: No.  Unfortunately, all payments have to be picked up.  We do not want to be responsible for lost or missing mail and reissuing checks. 

Q: How are items priced?

A: You can price your items however you'd like.  If we do the pricing in-store, items are priced 50-75% below retail value depending on the item and quality of the item.  We do have max pricing for certain items to keep items from being over-priced.

Q: I changed my mind and I really want something I consigned back. How do I get it back?

A: You may stop in anytime to pick up items that you have on consignment. We can show you your available consignments and you are welcome to find your item and take it with you.  Gowns on layaway are considered SOLD and cannot be taken from our store.
